Mark A. Sodhi is a partner in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he practices in the areas of general insurance defense in the representation of first-party property claims disputes, premises liability, automobile negligence, and workers' compensation defense matters. Mr. Sodhi's experience involves all aspects of litigation from pre-suit negotiation through summary judgment and trial.
Mr. Sodhi has utilized his experience in the areas of insurance defense to handle matters involving general liability and casualty, workers' compensation claims, and negligent security. He first joined QPWB in 2010 and focused on premises liability matters, and handled the representation of a Florida supermarket in a slip and fall case resulting in a defense verdict in Broward County. He has practiced as an attorney with regional and national law firms within the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg, Florida area since 2005. Mr. Sodhi has performed work on Florida's Workers' Compensation claims and Florida civil litigation cases for over 12 years, and obtained a favorable defense verdict in a premises liability trial in Hardee County, Florida. Mr. Sodhi has defended all stages of sinkhole litigation, hurricane and storm loss, and water loss, and has represented insureds and insurers on first-party property and coverage claims.
Mr. Sodhi received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida in 2005, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Central Florida in 2002.
He is licensed to practice law in Florida.
