Maureen "Molly" D. O'Connor, an associate in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., is a seasoned trial attorney with 18 years of experience handling complex litigation from inception to completion. Her areas of expertise include premises liability, products liability, intellectual property, trademarks, commercial contracts, construction disputes, landlord/tenant issues, insurance coverage defense, slip and falls, bad faith, medical malpractice defense, and real estate litigation. Ms. O'Connor maintains knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws. She is fully prepared and confident when entering any courtroom, deposition, negotiation, mediation, or meeting on behalf of her clients.

Before joining QPWB, Ms. O'Connor commenced private practice and represented various firms and clients. During this time, she obtained summary judgment in a premises liability case, defended clients in complicated business dispute matters, worked as an in-house insurance defense attorney on complex premises liability cases, performed contract work for business and real estate litigation firms, and drafted and interpreted real estate, insurance, and commercial contracts. She also litigated commercial and construction cases and provided pro bono advice to municipal agencies and individuals.

Throughout her legal career, Ms. O'Connor has held numerous senior attorney positions, achieving success in motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss, successfully fighting appeals, including obtaining a ruling upholding the trial court's verdict from the United States Supreme Court, and securing attorneys' fees from the Judge in a case. She effectively guided a practice and staff over two years during a partner's leave of absence.

Notably, Ms. O'Connor served as an in-house attorney and liaison for various legal teams, litigation teams, paralegals, product counsel, and engineers at a multinational technology company specializing in artificial intelligence, online advertising, search engine technology, cloud computing, computer software, quantum computing, and e-commerce. As the senior litigation attorney, she was responsible for determining how to respond to litigation and subpoena requests from third parties involving corporate and user data for dozens of products.

In 2005, Ms. O'Connor earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University in 1997.

Ms. O'Connor is licensed to practice law in Georgia and is also a certified notary in the state of Georgia. Outside of her legal career, she volunteers as a mentor and judge for moot court competitions. Additionally, she devotes her time to advocating for Dysautonomia International with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the Saturday Lawyer's Program.
