Megan T. Huynh is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Huynh is a civil litigation attorney with experience as a child abuse prosecutor who advocates for clients in cases involving elder abuse and neglect.
From initial case assessment to discovery, negotiation, and trial preparation, Ms. Huynh is well-versed in all aspects of litigation. Her prior role as an Assistant State Attorney for the Pinellas County State Attorney's Office equipped her with the capability to conduct thorough investigations and prosecutions for child abuse cases. In this capacity, she is committed to upholding legal and ethical standards, collaborating closely with law enforcement agencies, medical professionals, and social workers to construct strong cases.
Notably, Ms. Huynh successfully led a Grand Jury indictment for First Degree Murder, as well as presided over more than 20 felony trials, hearings on Child Hearsay, Williams Rule, and Motions to Suppress and Dismiss. She consistently prioritizes the best interests and needs of children while pursuing just outcomes.
While earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2019, and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 2014, majoring in criminology, Ms. Huynh managed several internships. Throughout her academic journey, she actively pursued internships with esteemed legal entities such as the Florida and Illinois State's Attorney's Offices, the Public Defender's Office, and the U.S. Attorney Office.
During her time at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, she was honored with the Asian American Leadership Award for her exceptional dedication to crime prevention and supporting victims within the community.
She is licensed to practice law in Florida.
