Melissa E. Murphy is a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Murphy's practice focuses on civil litigation defense. She represents clients in a wide variety of disciplines, with an emphasis on skilled nursing and premises liability cases involving allegations of negligence, personal injury, and wrongful death. Ms. Murphy handles all aspects of risk management, pre-suit claims, and litigation for her clients. With her comprehensive approach and invaluable guidance, she is adept at navigating issues both in and out of the courtroom.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Murphy served as the managing attorney for an Atlanta-based law firm, where she handled all aspects of litigation for a high-profile healthcare client while managing the firm's operations. Before that, she was an associate at a national trial firm, where she worked out of Miami and Atlanta.
In 2013, Ms. Murphy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Thereafter, she obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2016.
Ms. Murphy is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina.
