Meredith L. Knight is a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., she has defended the full spectrum of workers' compensation cases including catastrophic claims since commencing her legal career in 2006. Ms. Knight represents employers, insurers and insureds, third party administrators in the courtroom; she has appeared for hearings as first chair attorney and oral argument before the Appellate Division of the State Board of Workers' Compensation, and Superior Courts, and has formal mediation training.
An integral part of her practice is helping clients implement effective programs to strengthen their workers' compensation systems to reduce the likelihood of claims and mitigate risk. She hosts educational seminars, training programs and prepares critical reviews of injury reporting policy and company manuals to instruct her clients should claims occur.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Knight was a partner at a full service law firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, where she represented Fortune 500 companies in all of her current areas of practice.
Ms. Knight received her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in May 2006 and Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in 2001, graduating with a major in English.
Ms. Knight is licensed to practice law in Georgia and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
