Michelle D. Diaz is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Diaz litigates high-stakes trial and appellate engagements in Florida state and federal courts. Ms. Diaz focuses on a variety of employment law issues, including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenants, in state and federal courts, in arbitration, and before administrative agencies. She has also handled claims across many substantive areas of law, including employment law, commercial disputes, contract disputes, fraud, lender liability, professional liability, construction defect claims, product liability, and state and business tort law. Ms. Diaz also counsels regarding litigation and corporate risks, particularly those arising from social and corporate governance issues.

Prior to joining Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., Ms. Diaz was as an associate with a Florida based law firm where she focused on complex litigation matters, her practice included commercial litigation and real estate litigation.
Ms. Diaz received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, Miami, Florida in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts from Barry University, Miami, Florida in 2002. During law school, she received the Book Award for academic achievement in Supreme Court Advocacy course and was also a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Law Fraternity.
Ms. Diaz is licensed to practice law in Florida; she is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Tax Court.
Her professional affiliations include the Dade County Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, and Miami Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women.
Ms. Diaz serves as a Diversity College Liaison for Wells Fargo. She has also served as a board member of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Miami / Fort Lauderdale Affiliate (June 2012 - October 2013).
Ms. Diaz is recognized in Super Lawyers® Florida list of "Rising Stars" 2016, 2017, and 2018 as a top rated attorney in general litigation.
