Michelle Missigman is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She specializes in health law, bringing a wealth of experience in defending healthcare professionals' licenses against the Department of Health. Ms. Missigman also provides valuable legal advice on contracts, business practices, Florida statutes, AHCA regulations, HIPAA, and CMS regulations. 

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Missigman served as an Associate Attorney at The Health Law Firm, P.A. In this role, she successfully defended healthcare professionals' licenses and provided crucial legal guidance on various healthcare-related matters, showcasing her expertise in navigating the complex legal landscape. 

Ms. Missigman's dedication to the healthcare sector is further exemplified by her role as Chief Operations Officer at Mindful Behavioral Healthcare, LLC, a Community Mental Health Center. Here, she oversaw daily administrative operations, managed relationships with partners/vendors, and provided legal counsel on a range of matters, including vendor contracts and employment agreements. 

In 2019, Ms. Missigman earned her Juris Doctor with a focus on Health Law from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, obtained in May 2015.

Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2020, Ms. Missigman is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. She is also fluent in Spanish.
