Misbah Rashid is an associate in the Scottsdale and Las Vegas Hubs of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Rashid advises clients on a wide range of employment and business matters, including regulatory compliance, workplace policies, investigations, immigration, and contractual issues. She has drafted and negotiated over 200 complex agreements, from NDAs and non-competes to separation and service contracts, tailoring each to her clients' operational goals and risk profile.
Before joining QPWB, Ms. Rashid served as an employment attorney for a national legal services organization and provided on-call regulatory compliance for the California High Speed Rail Project. Her background includes advising HR leaders and executives across more than 40 organizations, including international entities, on topics such as discrimination, harassment, ADA accommodations, terminations, and workforce planning. She has also led litigation efforts, conducted training programs, and successfully handled administrative hearings before EEOC and other tribunals.
In earlier roles, Ms. Rashid established an immigration law practice, advised on family and employment discrimination matters, and led estate planning transactional counsel programs for mid-size businesses. Her ability to distill complex legal concepts into actionable strategies makes her a trusted advisor to both private sector and government clients.
Ms. Rashid is a two-time honoree of the State Bar of Arizona Pro Bono Honor Roll and actively serves her community through board leadership and civic engagement. She is a former non-resident fellow for the Institute for Global Engagement, where she worked on policy efforts related to religious security in conflict zones.
Holding dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of California, Irvine - one in Environmental Studies and the other in Law & Society, Ms. Rashid brings a multidisciplinary lens to her legal work. She earned her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she focused on developing her expertise in regulatory frameworks, and complex problem-solving. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Rashid advised on federal and state transportation and environmental compliance, permitting and design for both private and public entities on high-profile transportation projects throughout the West Coast with WSP and Parametrix.
Licensed to practice law in Arizona, Ms. Rashid is admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona.
