Monty R. Warren is of counsel to Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  Mr. Warren is a leading trial attorney with over 25 years of trial and appellate experience who resolves complex and critical disputes in the defense of physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice cases.  His litigation practice also includes products liability, automobile liability claims, premises liability, and professional liability.  He has obtained numerous defense verdicts on claims alleging medical negligence and has successfully prosecuted motions leading to the dismissal of fraudulent claims brought against physicians. Mr. Warren has achieved an AV ®Preeminent(TM) Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating afforded for legal ability and ethical standards from the confidential opinions of the Bar and the Judiciary.

Mr. Warren joined QPWB in 2011 where he served as managing partner of the West Palm Beach office for five years.  Prior to joining QPWB, he was co-founder of a health law practice in South Florida, and for a number of years was a shareholder at a Florida-based litigation law firm focused in the areas of professional and commercial liability.

Mr. Warren has achieved numerous noteworthy outcomes in his representation of physicians, nurses and medical facilities.  Because of his extensive litigation experience, he is frequently invited to lecture at medical and trial associations.  He has been a presenter at the Florida Medical Malpractice Claims Counsel, Florida Society of Internal Medicine, Florida Medical Foundation and First Professionals Insurance Company on topics such as effectiveness of surveillance prior to mediation and loss prevention through proper documentation.

Mr. Warren received his Juris Doctor from the University of Buffalo Law School, New York in 1985 and a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia in 1982.  During law school, he was honored with the Baldy Fellowship for Law and Social Policy.

Mr. Warren is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.  He is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida (including Trial Bar) and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Mr. Warren is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, American Trial Lawyers Association, and Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
