Neel M. Joshi is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Joshi represents insurance companies, corporate entities, and insured clients in state and federal courts. He centers his practice on civil litigation defense, specializing in first-party property, personal injury defense, motor vehicle accidents, general liability, premises liability, and negligent security matters. Additionally, he brings a unique technical background as a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Joshi manages all phases of civil defense litigation, from case inception through resolution. He has maintained active rosters of up to 50 concurrent litigation cases, demonstrating a strong capability in managing high-volume, complex dockets. Over the course of his career, he has routinely conducted numerous depositions, motion hearings, oral arguments, mediations, and global settlement conferences. A skilled advocate in pre-trial practice, Mr. Joshi regularly drafts and defends dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment, conducts thorough legal research to provide precise liability and exposure assessments, and prepares extensive trial components, including jury instructions and witness materials. Prior to entering civil defense litigation, he also managed extensive pre-suit personal injury portfolios, successfully negotiating over $600,000 in settlements.
In 2019, Mr. Joshi earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida A&M University College of Law. Notably, he also holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, with a minor in African Studies, from the University of Florida.
He is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
