Nicholas D. Alvarez is an associate in the Orlando Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Alvarez began his career with QPWB as a post-graduate law clerk, where he supported attorneys in drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, and assisting with trial preparation. His dedication and contributions to the firm's litigation teams led to his advancement into his current role as an associate.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. Alvarez gained extensive client service and problem-solving experience in the financial sector. He advised clients on meeting their financial goals, assisted in resolving disputes, and managed sensitive account matters with a focus on compliance and confidentiality. These experiences enhanced his ability to analyze complex issues, communicate effectively, and advocate for clients with intricate matters.
Mr. Alvarez earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where he graduated with high academic distinction, earning multiple Book Awards in areas including Legal Research and Writing, Contracts, Property, Wills, Trusts and Estates, and Professional Responsibility. He was a member of the Barry Law Review, served as Dean's Study Fellow for Contracts, and worked as a research assistant for Professor Stephen J. Leacock. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. John's University, where he was recognized for his academic excellence and community service.
