Nicholas Reid is an associate in the Miami Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Reid brings a background in litigation, blending experience in insurance defense, civil disputes, and contract law with a foundation in trial and criminal defense. He has spent his career representing clients in complex matters, navigating cases with a sharp attention to detail and a deep understanding of courtroom strategy. His ability to assess risk and negotiate effectively makes him an asset in both litigation and dispute resolution.
In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Reid served as a judicial intern for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where he researched complex legal issues and assisted in drafting orders on civil and criminal matters. His understanding of federal law and court procedures provides valuable insight into complicated cases.
Mr. Reid's background in finance adds a unique perspective to his practice, allowing him to assess financial implications in litigation, contract negotiations, and business disputes. Before law school, he founded and operated a financial consulting business, where he developed client-focused financial solutions and negotiated with lenders and real estate professionals.
In 2021, Mr. Reid attended Florida International University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor received the Book Award in Trial Advocacy and was a Best Orator Runner-Up in the Billings Moot Court Competition. Before law school, Mr. Reid graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Committed to community involvement, Mr. Reid coaches' youth basketball, volunteers with high school education programs, and participates in investment club meetings to stay engaged in financial markets and economic trends.
