Peter Wickard is Of Counsel in the Merrillville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.. Mr. Wickard represents a diverse range of large and small clients, protecting their interests across complex legal issues. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, bringing specialized experience in handling accident litigation, commercial litigation, and trucking and transportation matters.
An experienced litigator, Mr. Wickard manages cases throughout the entire litigation lifecycle. His background includes conducting depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing matters for trial. Notably, he has successfully obtained a defense jury verdict and had multiple dispositive motions granted in both Indiana State and Federal Courts. Prior to joining QPWB, he served as an associate at a national transportation defense firm and previously represented a major credit reporting agency in Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) matters across seven Federal Judicial Circuits. He also gained valuable insight into regulatory compliance and case development during his early legal career as a law clerk and state legal intern.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Wickard spent several years as a dedicated educator and coach in the Indiana public school system, where he launched impactful student athletics, tutoring, and nutrition programs.
In 2019, Mr. Wickard earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. While in law school, he excelled academically, earning a spot on the Dean's List for four consecutive years and serving on the Health Law Review. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011.
He is licensed to practice law in Indiana.
