Rachel Crass is an associate in the Denver office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Crass is a Colorado-licensed attorney and accomplished sports governance executive who brings an extraordinarily diverse background to her legal practice. She focuses her practice on civil litigation, employment matters, medical malpractice defense, general liability, and sports governance compliance.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Crass was an attorney at a national litigation firm, where she managed an extensive concurrent docket across more than 25 federal and state jurisdictions. In that role, she performed complex legal analyses and drafted high-level trial and appellate advocacy materials for complex constitutional, employment, and medical malpractice proceedings. Her public sector experience includes work as a legal intern in the Employment Law Division of the Denver City Attorney's Office, where she supported municipal attorneys defending high-stakes federal and state employment litigation, and as a park event facilitator for Denver Parks & Recreation, developing large-scale compliance tracking systems for major municipal venues.

A former elite athlete for Team USA, Ms. Crass is a recognized leader in Olympic and Paralympic sports governance, ethics systems, and regulatory compliance. She has served in high-level leadership and advisory roles across multiple National Governing Bodies (NGBs), including USA Powerlifting, USA Fencing, USA Judo, and USA Weightlifting. Throughout her tenure in sports leadership, she has led ethics investigations, overhauled disciplinary procedures, cleared multi-year case backlogs, and advised executive leadership on governance reforms and athlete safety initiatives. Additionally, she served on the Games Operations staff for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) during the Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 Olympic & Paralympic Games.

Ms. Crass earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2025, receiving certificates in Constitutional Rights & Remedies, International Legal Studies, International Legal Research, and Specialized Legal Research. While in law school, she earned the Leonard v.B. Sutton Award for Best International or Comparative Law Paper of the Year and the Scholastic Excellence Award in Constitutional Litigation. She was also recognized with Public Good Distinction. In July 2024, Ms. Crass completed an intensive program in public international law at the prestigious Hague Academy of International Law in The Hague, Netherlands, where she studied international ethics, intellectual property, treaty structures, and human rights law, while engaging directly with international tribunal officials, ambassadors, and diplomats. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, cum laude, from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, with minors in the German Language and Professional Writing.

Ms. Crass is licensed to practice law in Colorado at both the State and Federal level.
