Rachel L. Shelstad is Managing Partner of the Las Vegas hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With a focus exclusively on general liability, her practice centers on defending claims involving personal injury, premises liability, property damage, and insurance-related disputes. Ms. Shelstad also investigates suspected insurance fraud and litigates bad faith claims on behalf of carriers and their insureds.

With over ten years of of experience, Ms. Shelstad has developed a reputation for her courtroom presence and has participated in over 40 trials. She has a strong background in both private practice and in-house litigation, having served as a senior trial attorney for a major insurance carrier. Her work includes defending insurers and insureds in both state and federal courts, as well as prosecuting claims involving subrogated interests.

Ms. Shelstad holds a Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from UNLV, where she was inducted into Pi Mu Epsilon, the National Honorary Mathematics Society, for superior achievement in the field of mathematics.

Licensed to practice in all Nevada state courts, Ms. Shelstad is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, and the Supreme Court of Nevada.
