Randy J. Aoyama is a partner in the Las Vegas hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., representing clients in a broad range of litigation matters, including insurance defense, product liability, labor and employment, wrongful death, transportation, and complex tort claims. With decades of experience, he has successfully handled complex cases, providing strategic counsel from pre-litigation through trial.
Mr. Aoyama has represented corporations and insurers in commercial and contract disputes, defending businesses across various industries against claims involving premises liability, catastrophic injury, and property damage. His extensive experience includes developing litigation strategies, overseeing investigations, managing discovery, and negotiating settlements.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Aoyama held leadership roles in multiple firms, serving as a managing partner and leading litigation teams. He also worked as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 company, where he advised on risk management and complex litigation. His ability to craft compelling arguments and his track record of securing favorable outcomes make him a trusted advocate for his clients.
In 1997, Mr. Aoyama attended the University of Washington School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor. During law school, he gained hands-on experience through the Ninth Circuit Pro Se Appellate Project, where he successfully argued an appeal before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as internships with the Unemployment Law Clinic and the Northwest Defenders Criminal Defense program. Before law school, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of Washington in 1993.
Committed to fostering diversity in the profession, Mr. Aoyama has been actively involved in the Asian American legal community, serving as President of the Arizona Asian American Bar Association and chairing diversity initiatives within the state bar. Outside of his practice, he is a dedicated coach and mentor, leading his local middle school Rubik's Cube team to multiple state and national championships.
