Raymond Clark Persin is a Senior Litigation Attorney and Managing Partner of the Dedicated Medicare Compliance Group (DMCG) at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  He practices out of the Chicago office.  With over 30 years of litigation experience Mr. Persin defends complex civil liability, workers' compensation and third-party claims as well as asserting subrogation rights.  He served as lead defense counsel for all civil personal injury litigation arising out of the construction of the Chicago elevated train system, commonly known as the "Orange Line." In addition to his focus on construction litigation, his other major experience includes RICO violations, product liability, premises liability, and trucking accidents. Mr. Persin has a reputation as an energetic attorney who is a good listener.

For more than two decades his passion has been mitigating exposure for, and protecting the interests of, his clients under the Medicare Secondary Payer Statute.  His group investigates and negotiates liens, prepares future medical expense cost projections, makes submissions to Medicare, and drafts settlement documents.  Mr. Persin is retained nationally as a consultant to resolve compliance issues in all forms of personal injury claims.

Mr. Persin received his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois (1979); and a Bachelor of Arts (Government) and Associate of Science (Criminal Justice) from Norwich Military University, Northfield, Vermont (1976).

Mr. Persin is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  He regularly performs pro-bono work and he volunteered his time with the Illinois Supreme Court Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission as a Member/Chairperson of an Inquiry Panel (1984-1987) and as a Hearing Officer (1987-1993).
