Renee E. Franchi is a partner in the Denver office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Franchi brings a highly sophisticated and multi-faceted litigation background spanning corporate accountability, complex civil litigation, and environmental law. She focuses her practice on civil litigation, personal injury defense, environmental law, white collar criminal defense, commercial litigation, labor and employment, and intellectual property and internet law.
Throughout her career, Ms. Franchi has distinguished herself as an adaptable and powerful advocate in both state and federal courts nationwide. She has extensively managed complex, high-stakes dockets involving multidistrict litigation, catastrophic personal injury, environmental compliance, and institutional liability. She has regularly directed all phases of the litigation lifecycle, from initial case intake and discovery through depositions, motion practice, mediations, jury trials, and appeals.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Franchi served as Senior Counsel for a specialized firm, where she managed environmental, public health, and consumer protection cases, while simultaneously operating as fractional general counsel to corporate and nonprofit entities on matters of governance, legal compliance, and organizational risk. She also served as a Lead Trial Lawyer at a prominent Western regional firm, where she spearheaded high-stakes civil dockets and supervised a dedicated legal team. Her extensive career also includes years in high-impact private practice handling complex commercial, construction, intellectual property, and labor and employment disputes, as well as maintaining an active appellate docket.
Before transitioning to civil practice, Ms. Franchi built a formidable foundation as a prosecutor, serving as a Senior Deputy Prosecutor in the Trial and Appellate units of the York County District Attorney's Office. In this capacity, she supervised criminal trial teams, led felony prosecutions, conducted multi-day evidentiary hearings, and argued numerous appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court. She was also selected as the project lead for complex constitutional resentencing litigation and served on treatment court teams promoting diversion and rehabilitation.
Ms. Franchi is a recognized thought leader and national speaker who has been featured by the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, and multiple legal summits and seminars. Her insights have been highlighted across major media outlets, including The New York Times and The Washington Post.
In 2012, Ms. Franchi earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, having previously earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University in 2008.
She is licensed to practice in Colorado, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado; the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania; the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland; and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Tenth and Third Circuits.
