Richard A. Soberman is an associate in the New York office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. His practice is focused in the areas of personal injury and premises liability defense. Mr. Soberman is a seasoned trial attorney with over 25 years of experience preparing and supervising matters from inception of the case through mediation, arbitration, trial, and post-trial. Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Soberman was a co-founding partner of Palmeri, Gaven, and Soberman, established in 1982, where he specialized in defending a diverse range of premises liability claims. Previously, he was an associate with two personal injury defense law firms in Manhattan handling motor vehicle accidents, labor and employment law, insurance claims, and real estate-related disputes.
Mr. Soberman received his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law in 1976 and Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York at Albany summa cum laude in 1973.
He is licensed to practice law in New York and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
