Robert Cornell is an associate in the Birmingham Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Cornell concentrates his practice in civil litigation, focusing on insurance defense, construction defect litigation, professional liability, and transportation and trucking defense. He also has experience in estate planning, probate, and appellate matters.
Mr. Cornell represents clients in complex insurance defense cases, including matters involving construction claims, professional liability, and transportation litigation. He has drafted motions for summary judgment, managed discovery, and appeared in court on behalf of clients. He has also served as appellate counsel, handling post-verdict strategy and briefing for civil appeals. In his solo practice, he worked closely with families and individuals on estate planning, probate, and trust administration, including special needs planning and elder law documents.
In 2022, Mr. Cornell obtained his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Before attending law school, he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting, along with a certificate in Honors Humanities, from Azusa Pacific University, where he served as Club Golf Co-Captain, President of the Ski Club, and Treasurer of the Accounting Honors Society.
Mr. Cornell is admitted to practice law in the state of Alabama. Outside of the office, he enjoys skiing, golfing, surfing, photography, and following San Diego and Notre Dame sports.
