Ronald R. Kollitz is a partner in the Los Angeles hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With over 30 years of experience in workers' compensation defense, he has dedicated his career to representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in complex workers' compensation matters. Mr. Kollitz's expertise extends to various civil litigation areas, including labor and employment law, enabling him to provide clients with well-rounded dispute resolution and litigation strategies. 

Certified as a Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law by the State Bar of California since 1981, Mr. Kollitz has held several prominent roles throughout his career. He has served as a Senior Attorney for the California Court of Appeal, a Workers' Compensation Appeals Board Judge, and a Presiding Workers' Compensation Judge at the WCAB Los Angeles District Office. His broad legal experience allows him to navigate complex legal issues adeptly and resolve disputes effectively. Since 2019, he has also contributed his skills to the City of Los Angeles' Alternative Dispute Prevention and Resolution Program as a Mediator/Arbitrator and has shaped policy as Special Counsel for the Workers' Compensation Advisory Committee to the California Assembly. 

Mr. Kollitz graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1971, and earned his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law in 1974. His commitment to legal education is evident in his ongoing role as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California and as a lecturer in workers' compensation programs, where he mentors future legal professionals. 

Licensed to practice law in California and before the U.S. Central District Court, Mr. Kollitz has also made significant editorial contributions, including serving as a Technical Editor for the Hampton Workers' Compensation Desk Book series. Since closing his own practice in 2020, he continues to leverage his vast capabilities by collaborating with applicant firms, contributing to the field's growth and development.
