Ryan Valdez is an associate in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He is a skilled litigation attorney with a focused background in managing high-volume caseloads while guiding clients through every stage of the legal process. His practice focuses on bankruptcy, creditors' rights, insurance defense litigation, automotive liability, general litigation, subrogation, and arbitration.
Mr. Valdez has significant experience serving as lead attorney in subrogation matters, representing insurance companies in the reclamation of funds related to automobile accidents. His expertise extends to the realm of private arbitration, where he is well-versed in the procedures and rules of major national arbitration forums.
Beyond his subrogation work, Mr. Valdez has handled a wide array of creditors' rights cases and general litigation matters. He is a proficient researcher, certified in both Westlaw and LexisNexis, which allows him to provide clients with meticulous legal analysis and effective advocacy. His experience includes representing clients before judges across both Illinois and Tennessee, ensuring a comprehensive approach to litigation in both state and private forums.
In 2023, Mr. Valdez earned his Juris Doctorate from the Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law. During his legal studies, he was a founding member and Vice-President of the Hispanic Law Student Association (HLSA). Prior to law school, he graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy.
He remains an active member of the Knoxville Latino Bar Association, where he serves as Sergeant-at-Arms, as well as the Chicago, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations.
