Ryan D. Wozny is a partner in the Dallas office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Wozny's practice is focused in the areas of transportation, general liability, health care, corporate and commercial litigation including premises liability, medical malpractice defense, non-subscriber claims, and professional liability.
Mr. Wozny also has extensive experience representing physicians, nurses, and physician assistants before state licensing boards. Mr. Wozny has represented hundreds of Texas health care providers before licensing boards over the last decade.
Mr. Wozny has been named a "Rising Star" by Texas Monthly from 2014 - 2019.

Select Representative Experience
General Liability: Mr. Wozny represents publicly-traded corporations in a variety of litigated matters, including premises liability, landlord-tenant disputes, employee injury claims, corporate investigations, and claims management throughout all stages of litigation. Mr. Wozny will often become involved in potential claims within hours of an incident occurring and conduct investigations alongside corporate risk management personnel to ensure a defensive litigation strategy is implemented from beginning to end.
Transportation: Mr. Wozny serves as outside counsel to several large transportation companies, handling the defense of personal injury claims, accident investigation, and corporate investigations. Mr. Wozny also serves as both litigation counsel and consultant to handle employee injury claims for Texas employers who operate ERISA benefit plans under Texas nonsubscriber laws.
Health Care: Represents health care professionals in medical malpractice claims and in hearings before the Texas Medical Board including litigation at the State Office of Administrative Hearings; has successfully obtained numerous summary judgments and dismissals for health care providers. His practice in this area also includes representation of issues related to Stark, Anti-Kickback, and HIPAA.
Construction: Represents owners, general contractors, sub-contractors, and industry professionals in complex, multi-party, high damages actions including design defect allegations and premises liability claims.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Wozny is outside counsel for transportation companies and physician groups, advising each in complex, industry-specific issues related to commercial business and regulation at both the state and federal level.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Wozny was a shareholder with a commercial litigation law firm in Dallas specializing in representing the insurance industry, where he practiced in all of his current areas since 2007.
Mr. Wozny received his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law in May 2006 and received a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in May 2003, graduating with a major in journalism and minor in business administration.
Mr. Wozny is licensed to practice law in Texas and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
