Sandra Rodriguez is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Rodriguez focuses her practice on the defense and claims-handling process of matters involving first-party property insurance for carriers in disputes with homeowners and commercial insureds stemming from losses related to windstorm and hurricane, sinkhole, mold, water and flood, fire and arson, burglary and theft; and in claims arising from a wide variety of insurance products including general liability, automobile liability, and premise liability.
Ms. Rodriguez has worked as a contract specialist for the federal government, where she engaged in all aspects of contract procurement planning in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other applicable federal government laws and regulations. Previously, she worked for an eDiscovery and data management company reviewing documents related to securities litigation and environmental law. She was also an associate in a law firm where she focused on estate planning, probate law, foreclosure, bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and trusts; she also worked with a regional law firm representing corporate and individual clients with employment and family law immigration matters.
Ms. Rodriguez received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Florida International University College of Law in December 2015 and Bachelor of Science magna cum laude from Florida International University in April 2012, graduating with a major in criminal justice.
Ms. Rodriguez is licensed to practice law in Florida.
