Schammua Policard is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice in workers' compensation defense representing employers and insurance carriers in all aspects of workers' compensation claims throughout Florida. Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Policard worked at the State Attorney's Office, Ninth Circuit, as an assistant state attorney prosecuting misdemeanor, criminal traffic, and felony charges from preliminary examination of case through verdict. Ms. Policard received her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in May 2020 and Bachelor of Science summa cum laude in 2016 from Florida A&M University. While in law school, she served as Secretary for both the Black Law Student Association and the American Constitution Society. Ms. Policard also served as a judicial law clerk with the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, where she assisted with criminal and civil proceedings. She is licensed to practice law in Florida. Ms. Policard is proficient in Haitian Creole.
