Stephanie Parra is an associate in the Miami Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With a practice that concentrates on civil litigation, with experience spanning automobile liability, premises liability, employer liability, and intellectual property defense matters, including copyright and trademark litigation, Ms. Parra approaches each case with a strategic mindset, focusing on efficient case management and practical solutions.
As an attorney, Ms. Parra has managed complex and high-volume caseloads across state and federal forums. Her litigation experience includes drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, dispositive motions, and detailed case analysis reports. She has represented clients in matters involving financial services disputes, regulatory issues, and civil liability claims, drawing on her ability to analyze extensive records, financial documents, and evidentiary materials to develop strong litigation strategies. Her background in regulatory compliance and media law further strengthens her ability to navigate multifaceted issues with precision and clarity.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Parra built a distinguished foundation in journalism and media. She served as Editor-in-Chief of The Miami Hurricane, overseeing editorial operations, leading staff, and managing content across multiple platforms. She also worked as an intern with The Miami Herald, where she reported on local news and feature stories, developing strong research, writing, and investigative skills that continue to inform her litigation and communication skills today.
In 2021, Ms. Parra earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she was a Senior Staff Member of the FIU Law Review and a member of the Negotiation and Mediation Team. She also holds a Master of Science in International Real Estate from Florida International University and dual undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, from the University of Miami.
Ms. Parra is admitted to practice law in Florida and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida. A native Spanish speaker, she is also proficient in French and conversational in Portuguese, allowing her to serve a diverse client base.
