Stephen M. Mistoler is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he focuses his practice in the areas of nursing home and assisted living defense litigation, medical malpractice defense, and premises liability. Mr. Mistoler received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, Gulfport, Florida in May 2013 and he earned double Bachelor of Science's in Economics and Political Science from Clemson University, South Carolina in May 2010. While in law school, he received mediation training and certification. He served as a professor's teaching fellow on tort law, and was presented with the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award. Previously, Mr. Mistoler worked as a volunteer associate in an Orlando law office specializing in personal injury, bankruptcy and criminal law. He also worked with a Florida hospital as an insurance benefits specialist. Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Mistoler taught advanced business and English classes and taught English to foreign learners. Mr. Mistoler is licensed to practice law in Florida. He has Spanish language proficiency and knows Portuguese.
