Susan B. Frischer is an associate in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, business law, and real estate. She is a certified mediator and represents clients in hearings, administrative proceedings and settlement negotiations.
In her litigation practice, Ms. Frischer has represented clients in class actions, criminal matters, immigration, personal injury, probate and divorce matters. Her practice includes advising on employment matters, Title VII and other discrimination issues, non-compete agreements, and handling wage and hour issues.
Ms. Frischer is a versatile advisor and negotiator. Her experience includes successfully negotiating complex lease deals for retailers and other commercial tenants. She has represented various industries, businesses and governmental organizations. Her practice has included assisting with company formation, advising on how to protect and commercialize intellectual property. She has handled business sales, non-compete agreements, and registering, selling and restructuring companies. Ms. Frischer helps business owners achieve their business goals.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Frischer was an attorney with a Chicago law office handling real estate transactions, commercial litigation and business law matters. Previously, for over 12 years and while practicing law, she was owner of two family-owned retail establishments in Evanston, Illinois and retail chains throughout the Chicagoland and Milwaukee areas where she managed and executed all logistical, creative and financial matters relating to the operation and expansion of the family owned, multi-concept businesses, with an e-commerce presence. Ms. Frischer commenced her legal practice in 1996, she has worked as an attorney with various Chicago area law offices and also established her law practice in Chicago.
Ms. Frischer received her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in 1995 and Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1990. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Ms. Frischer is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
