Tae-In Joung is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Joung is experienced in conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs for complex legal matters. Her practice focuses on product liability, premises liability, and general liability matters.
Ms. Joung possesses a specialized background in intellectual property and cybersecurity. Prior to joining the firm, she served as an IP law consultant, where she advised on high-stakes litigation. Her expertise extends to commercial agreements, where she has drafted and reviewed critical provisions relating to data security, privacy, and confidentiality. She is skilled at synthesizing complex legal materials into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
In addition to her litigation and consulting experience, Ms. Joung has a strong foundation in corporate compliance and internal investigations. She has managed document reviews for international corporations, analyzed transactional discrepancies, and identified potential regulatory red flags.
In 2024, Ms. Joung earned her Master of Laws in Privacy Law and Cybersecurity from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she received the Dean's Academic Excellence Award. She earned her Juris Doctor from Handong International Law School, graduating in the top 15 of her class. During her legal studies, she was an accomplished oralist and researcher for international moot court competitions. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ewha Woman's University.
Ms. Joung is licensed to practice law in California and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California.
