Lindsey Tatum Brown is a partner in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her practice focuses on general liability, premises liability, negligent security, long-term care defense, medical and professional malpractice defense, and nursing home defense litigation.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Brown was an assistant legal counsel to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office where she provided advice and representation to the sheriff and sheriff's office employees in all legal matters including civil lawsuits, complaints, motions, negotiations, appellate briefs and obtaining final judgments.

Ms. Brown received her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in May 2007 from the University of Central Florida with a major in criminal science and minor in legal studies.  While in law school, she held a certified legal internship within the Office of the State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit and externship for the Office of the State Attorney for the Eighth Judicial Circuit assisting with cases in the Misdemeanor Division and the Felony Division of Crimes Against Women and Families.  She also was a law clerk for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and legal intern for the Office of the State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit helping attorneys publish memorandums on newly enacted legislation and trial preparation for the Felony Gang Division.

Ms. Brown is licensed to practice law in Florida.  She also is admitted in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  She is a current member of the American Bar Association, Florida Association of Police Attorneys, Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, Hillsborough County Bar Association, Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers and Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
