Thomas C. Flowers is an associate in the Chicago Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses his practice on general civil litigation, including matters involving transportation and trucking defense, premises liability, construction and subcontracting disputes, toxic torts, civil rights, nursing home defense, and medical malpractice. With years of experience managing cases from assignment through resolution, Mr. Flowers is known for his strategic litigation approach across a wide range of high-exposure matters.
Mr. Flowers has achieved significant litigation success, particularly in cases brought before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He has represented national healthcare and service providers in complex medical malpractice and civil rights matters, obtaining dismissals at both the pleading and summary judgment stages. His attention to detail and precise drafting have consistently delivered favorable results for clients. He is also experienced in leveraging strategic tools, such as Rule 11 letters and targeted motion practice, to achieve early case resolution or secure favorable settlements.
Committed to community engagement, Mr. Flowers is involved with Playmakers Laboratory, a non-profit organization that delivers creative arts programming to underserved children within the Chicago Public School system. Through this initiative, children participate in writing programs that culminate in live performances of their original stories, brought to life by professional artists.
In 2012, Mr. Flowers earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame in 2007.
