Thomas E. Durborow is a partner in the Jacksonville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He litigates all aspects of first-party property insurance defense claims in the representation of insureds, self-insureds, insurance carriers, and third party administrators involving insurance coverage, extra contractual matters and bad faith claims. His practice is also emphasized in general liability, personal injury and casualty claims, automobile negligence, premises liability, wrongful death and catastrophic injury matters arising from various alleged torts, negligent security, and other negligence and tort claims.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Durborow was an associate attorney with two insurance defense law firms in Miami where he managed and litigated first-party property claims from inception through resolution of claims.
Mr. Durborow received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, Coral Gables, Florida in May 2014 and Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 2011, graduating with a major in industrial relations and human resource management.
He is licensed to practice law in Florida.
