Thomas M. Eisman is an associate in the Tallahassee Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he centers his practice on civil litigation, labor and employment matters, and administrative law. Mr. Eisman has managed hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases from arraignment to resolution. His background includes conducting depositions, engaging in motion practice, and negotiating favorable plea deals for clients.
As an Assistant Public Defender in both the Felony and Misdemeanor Divisions across Florida's 2nd and 13th Circuits, Mr. Eisman served in this role handling high-volume caseloads, conducting courtroom hearings, and developing strong litigation strategies. His commitment to client advocacy and due process has shaped his meticulous approach to defense.
In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Eisman has worked with the Florida Public Employees Relations Commission, where he reviewed disciplinary appeals and unfair labor practice charges. His research and drafting skills have contributed to significant administrative decisions, further enhancing his expertise in labor and employment law.
Earning his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, Mr. Eisman distinguished himself through academic excellence and commitment to public service. He was awarded the Book Award for Criminal Procedure: Police in 2021 and received a Scholarship Award from the Florida Bar Labor and Employment Section in 2022. His dedication to pro bono work earned him the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Certificate in 2023. Prior to law school, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Political Science from Florida State University in 2018.
