Timothy D. Lucero is an partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With over 30 years of extensive litigation experience, he stands as a seasoned trial attorney specializing in various areas of law. Mr. Lucero is the founder of Lucero Law, PLLC, established in 1999, where he has showcased his expertise across various practice areas, including tax law, contract law, government law, bankruptcy, foreclosure, personal injury, criminal defense, business and corporate litigation, civil litigation, mortgage law, real estate closings, settlements, title insurance, wills, trusts and estates, and entertainment law.

Mr. Lucero 's legal career has been marked by notable positions, including serving as the Foreclosure Managing Attorney and Bankruptcy Attorney Department Head at Marshall C. Watson, P.A., and holding the role of Senior Trial Attorney at The Florida Bar. He has also contributed to the Office of the State Attorney, State of Florida, as an Assistant State Attorney, focusing on Criminal Prosecutions/Trials. 

His diverse experience extends to his role as Trial Lawyer in the United States Army Officer Corps, where he held the rank of Field Grade Commissioned Officer. Mr. Lucero 's commitment to service is further exemplified by his numerous military decorations, including the United States Army Meritorious Service Medal, Commendation Medals, Achievement Medals, Master Parachutist Badge, and much more.  

Mr. Lucero earned his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1990. Prior to pursuing his law degree, he achieved academic excellence at Ball State University, obtaining a Master of Arts in 1981 and a Bachelor of Science in 1980. This well-rounded educational background reflects his commitment to continuous learning and intellectual growth, contributing to his proficiency in navigating the complexities of various legal landscapes.  

Mr. Lucero is licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, & Pennsylvania (and passed 5 comprehensive character & fitness evaluations by each of the State Board of Law Examiners). Additionally, he is admitted and licensed to practice law by the United States Supreme Court and the United States Tax Court.
