Toure J. Ohene is an associate in the Glendale Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he focuses his practice on insurance defense and civil litigation. He has experience representing a wide range of clients, including hospitals, nursing homes, real estate professionals, drug rehabilitation centers, and public agencies in complex litigation matters.
Mr. Ohene has handled all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, managing discovery, and arguing motions. He has extensive experience conducting depositions, including examinations of medical professionals such as doctors and nurses, both as fact witnesses and expert witnesses assessing injuries. His background includes assisting in trial preparation and second-chairing a bench trial.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. Ohene worked at several litigation firms, where he defended corporate clients against claims involving construction defects, real estate disputes, and professional liability. His multidisciplinary background, combined with his Master of Public Administration and health science education, provides him with a unique perspective when handling cases involving healthcare and public entities.
Mr. Ohene is an active member of the Haitian Lawyers Association and the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association. He is fluent in Haitian Creole and conversational in French, allowing him to effectively communicate with diverse clients.
Outside of his practice, Mr. Ohene enjoys exploring California's hiking trails, following international soccer, and engaging in community service initiatives within the Haitian-American law community.
