Vanesti E. Brown is an partner in the Atlanta Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With substantial experience representing clients in complex matters, Ms. Brown specializes in construction litigation, bodily injury defense, automotive liability, and premises liability. Her practice also expands to civil litigation, insurance defense, and commercial litigation.
Ms. Brown has a proven track record of providing representation in high-volume cases. She has defended clients across various industries, preparing and arguing motions for dismissal, summary judgment, and fraud. Her experience includes managing discovery processes, attending hearings, mediations, and trials, and delivering comprehensive case evaluations and trial reports.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Brown held positions at several respected law firms, where she represented clients in a range of matters, including construction defects, commercial litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, and personal injury cases. Additionally, she served as an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University, where she instructed law students in various legal disciplines.
In 2021, Ms. Brown argued a summary judgment motion in a breach of commercial lease matter in Broward County, Florida and won summary judgment on three out of the four causes of action brought by her client. She, and a co-counsel, proceeded to a jury trial on the outstanding cause of action and obtained a defense verdict after less than an hour of jury deliberation.
Earning her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2012, Ms. Brown was recognized on the Dean's List and was actively involved in multiple legal organizations. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, cum laude, and an Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies from Florida Metropolitan University.
Licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Washington, D.C., Ms. Brown is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Northern District of Georgia.
