Veronica Rubio is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She practices in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage and bad faith claims litigation principally pertaining to property and casualty matters in both federal and state courts. Her practice is also emphasized in the areas of general civil litigation, premises liability, negligent security, employment practices claims and general negligence cases.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Rubio was an associate attorney with a Miami law firm. She focused on commercial litigation, all aspects of insurance defense litigation and personal injury matters including evaluation of claims for settlement to insurance carriers, providing insurance coverage opinions and opinions regarding potential bad faith exposure.
Ms. Rubio received her Juris Doctor cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law, Miami, Florida in May 2011 and Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Florida International University in December 2007. During law school, she served as a member of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. She received the Book Award in Appellate Advocacy.
Ms. Rubio is licensed to practice law in Florida. She is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
