William B. Brumby is a partner in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses his practice in the areas of general liability defense, premises liability, automotive liability, and trucking/transportation. Mr. Brumby’s experience involves all aspects of litigation from the inception of a case through trial.
Mr. Brumby joined QPWB in 2017 and has worked at the firm continuously ever since as a general civil litigation attorney, typically on cases which involve personal injury claims. He has successfully represented clients at trial and nonbinding arbitrations, has prevailed in evidentiary hearings including on a dispositive motion to dismiss for fraud, and has obtained a number of summary judgments in slip and fall cases. From the time he was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011 until joining QPWB, Mr. Brumby represented clients in all aspects of consumer bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, contractual disputes, and other state court insolvency matters.
Mr. Brumby received his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in May 2010 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in December 2006 with a major in political science.
Mr. Brumby is licensed to practice law in Florida and Georgia. He is admitted in the U.S. District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Florida.
