Zoe G. Appler is an associate in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Specializing in medical malpractice defense and insurance claims, Ms. Appler's practice extends to a broad spectrum, including labor and employment law, contract disputes, biometric data privacy, toxic torts, and government relations. 

Ms. Appler previously served as an Associate Trial Attorney where she expertly litigated medical malpractice cases and conducted extensive research on matters spanning labor and employment, toxic torts, and contracts. Her meticulous approach involves taking depositions, filing motions with the court, and collaborating with medical experts to shape compelling case theories based on thorough examination of medical records. She is also skilled at navigating negotiations to secure favorable settlements for her clients. 

Ms. Appler's diverse background extends beyond law to the realm of policy and research. As a Research Associate at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., she managed communication activities, orchestrated public and private events, handled government relations, and oversaw internships. Her editorial contributions to publications include The Washington Examiner, Inside Higher Ed, RealClear Politics, and The National Review.  

*Ms. Appler attended the Chicago-Kent College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor and served as the President and Captain for the National Trial Advocacy Team. Ms. Appler continues to coach trial advocacy for Chicago-Kent's team and works as an adjunct professor of Trial Advocacy. Prior to law school, she received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from The American University in December of 2018.  

Licensed to practice law in Illinois, Ms. Appler is a member of the American Bar Association, Women's Bar Association of Illinois, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators, Hertog Foundation Political Studies Fellowship, and the American Mock Trial Association.
