AIOT provides experiences that are designed to help first- time adoption families build closer relationships both together and with other adoptive families. Their mission is to advance the education and training of new adoption families while focusing on increasing the welfare of family relationships through Disney and other nurturing experiences that encourage family bonding. Families who adopt are incredibly important because they provide a future to kids who otherwise may not have one.
Normally, 3 amazing families are taken to Disney World. However, due to COVID, that was not possible. So this year, they did something different! They started a “Choose Your Own Adventure” giveaway, in which they gave 4 awesome families a choice of COVID friendly bonding adventures with a focus on participation from household family members.
AIOT is an IRS approved, non-profit 501(c)(3) national organization.

- Where Happiness Inspires Hope-

Since 1986, Give Kids The World Village has welcomed more than 176,000 families from all 50 states and 76 countries. The Village is made possible by the support of generous donors and community partners, as well as thousands of passionate volunteers – who donate their time and talent making wishes come true. This year, Terry Melton, Paralegal in the Orlando Office, decorated the Trail of Trees on behalf of QPWB. The firm has volunteered yearly at the Village for many years, however, due to the ongoing pandemic; the number of volunteers allowed has been limited for safety reasons.

The Founder of the Giving Back to the Community Committee, Ms. Cesaretti, says “We have been a very positive force and have been able to bring some joy and smiles to people who are dealing with extreme situations.” Our office has donated:
• Approximately one dozen I-Pads to area hospitals in need to allow loves ones to see their families.
• Partnered with a minority/women owned Veteran-based company that distributes PPE such as masks and gloves.
• Delivered over 500 personalized cards and over 100 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to COVID patients and health care workers in Chicago’s hardest hit hospitals.
Our focus now is in helping the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry. The Giving Back to our Community Committee contacted the Food Pantry director and learned that although non-perishable food donations are always welcome, what they need is cash donations since they can purchase $8.00 worth of food from the food bank per every dollar donated.
