NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. trial attorneys, Peter J. Molinelli and David M. Perez, obtained a complete defense arbitration award on behalf of their client, a Florida based Rehabilitation Center.
The daughter of a deceased nursing home resident claimed that the facility caused the deterioration of sacral wound to a bone exposing a Stage 4 wound. The daughter further claimed the wound became infected and resulted in the resident’s death 10 days later.
The defense convinced the arbitrator that the facility’s actions were within the standard of care and did not cause the resident’s death. QPWB achieved a complete defense verdict in this binding arbitration.

Peter J. Molinelli, is Managing Partner of the firm’s Tampa office.
