Nationwide practice group led by Zahralddin, paired with an eventual new Delaware hub, positions the country’s fastest-growing law firm as a national force in complex business disputes for the nation’s top companies, insurers, and their leaders.

WILMINGTON, Del., June 1, 2026. Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB) today announced the launch of a national Business Law & Commercial Litigation practice group led by Rafael X. Zahralddin, who joins the firm as a partner and practice group chair. Zahralddin is joined by new partner Andrew Ralli and a full team of existing QPWP litigators. With the new addition to the firm, QPWB will open a new office in Wilmington, Delaware to serve as the group’s home base in the very near future. The Delaware office will be full service and handle any of the firm's needs in one of the busiest legal jurisdictions in the world.

The launch marks QPWB’s first dedicated national Business Law and Commercial Litigation practice. Zahralddin and Ralli were drawn to the firm by the opportunity to build the group from the ground up on an exceptional, established national platform, and he will lead its development and growth across the country. Within the Business & Commercial Litigation group, Rafael will oversee Business & Bankruptcy matters, and Andrew will manage Corporate & Commercial Litigation matters.

While both have significant transactional experience allowing them to fully serve the clients across all business matters, the new group brings together sophisticated corporate-dispute, restructuring, and trial capabilities and pairs them with QPWB’s national platform of more than 600 attorneys across 57 offices. It handles the full lifecycle of business disputes: complex commercial and contract litigation, creditors rights, transactions inside and outside distressed situations, commercial transactions, corporate governance and fiduciary matters, bankruptcy and restructuring, securities and FINRA litigation, regulatory and government-enforcement actions, insurance coverage, mass and toxic tort, cross-border and international-trade matters, and  intellectual property litigation among others.

Critically, the group operates as a single national team, allowing it to staff matters in most states and federal courts, including specialized venues. The decision to anchor the group in Wilmington reflects the city’s status as a national center of gravity for corporate and commercial litigation. As the home of the Delaware Court of Chancery and one of the busiest bankruptcy courts in the United States, Wilmington is where many of the country’s most significant business and creditor disputes are decided. Establishing a presence there and connecting it to QPWB’s nationwide network gives clients a direct line to that expertise from anywhere in the country.

“Rafael is one of the most respected business litigators and restructuring lawyers in the country, and his decision to build this group at QPWB is a defining moment for the firm,” said Eric Boyer, National Managing Partner of QPWB. “We already have the national footprint: more than 600 attorneys and 57 offices. Rafael and Andrew give us the corporate and commercial litigation horsepower to scale this practice throughout the country. Opening in Wilmington and pairing it with our nationwide presence positions QPWB as a serious player in business and commercial litigation.”

“What drew me to QPWB was the rare chance to build a national Business Law and Commercial Litigation practice from the ground up on top of an outstanding, established platform,” said Rafael X. Zahralddin, Partner, Chair of QPWB’s Business Law & Commercial Litigation practice. “The firm already has the national footprint and the client relationships to go along with my own; what it has not had until now is a dedicated, full-service business law and commercial litigation group. I am energized to build that group, shape it the right way, and grow its impact for both new and existing QPWB clients in every market we serve. Anchoring it in Wilmington, the epicenter of corporate and bankruptcy litigation, and connecting it to the firm’s nationwide network is exactly the foundation we need.”

“Delaware is where many of the nation’s most important corporate and creditor disputes are decided, and being able to deliver that capability to clients nationwide through QPWB’s network is a tremendous opportunity,” said Andrew Ralli, partner in QPWB’s Business Law & Commercial Litigation practice. “I’m excited to build this practice alongside Rafael and the talented attorneys across the firm.”

The Business Law & Commercial Litigation group is staffed by attorneys across QPWB’s national offices, with practice leaders spanning commercial litigation, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, securities and FINRA, insurance coverage, labor and employment, construction, transportation, product liability and toxic tort, mass tort, and corporate transactions.
