QPWB Mourns the death of Hugh L. Wood, Jr.
January 3, 2005 (Miami, Florida) – It is with heavy hearts and deepest sorrow that the Law Firm of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. announces the passing of its Managing Partner, Hugh Lee Wood, Jr. Hugh passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005, due to complications from injuries sustained in a fire at his home on Friday, December 31, 2004. He is survived by his wife Audrey and their children, Charles (21), Kristina (18), Logan (6) and Ashton (4).
As one of the founding Partners of the firm, Hugh was instrumental in overseeing the management and growth of the organization since its inception. Through his vision and determination, the firm grew from a single office in Miami to six offices throughout Florida and one in Mississippi. To all the people at the firm and to our clients, he was not only the Managing Partner, but a dear friend who was admired and respected.
His love for this firm was only surpassed by his love for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. This firm will always be a part of Hugh’s legacy and we are now more than ever committed and devoted to the continued success of this firm.
