Aileen J. Esteban is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., focusing in the areas of insurance defense, first party property damage claims, premises liability, automobile negligence and commercial litigation. Her practice involves defending carriers in coverage issues, declaratory actions and in bad faith litigation claims.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Esteban worked as an associate attorney for four years to a regional law firm working on a broad range of legal issues, including complex commercial matters, employment law, construction defect and landlord-tenant disputes. She handled general corporate documents, such as organizational provisions, shareholder and joint venture agreements and employment contracts for commercial clients.
Ms. Esteban received her Juris Doctor cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law in May 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida International University in December 2009, graduating with a minor in marketing. She received the Book Award for Excellence in Florida Criminal Procedure in the spring semester of 2013, participated as a John J. Gibbons National Moot Court Criminal Procedure Competitor, and was a student member of the Cuban American Bar Association and the Moot Court Honor Board.
While in law school, Ms. Esteban held a Florida Supreme Court judicial externship for the Clerk of Court. She also worked as a legal assistant to a general practice firm for five years, where she processed real estate transactions, condominium and homeowner’s association debt collection files and responded to mortgage foreclosure complaints.
She is licensed to practice law in Florida.
