Amber A. Couzo is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Couzo focuses on labor and employment law, insurance defense litigation, bodily injury defense including slip and fall claims, construction accident claims, automobile liability, premises liability, product liability and negligent security matters.
Ms. Couzo received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in May 2021 and Bachelor of Science in December 2014 from the University of Miami, graduating with a major in broadcast journalism.
While in law school, Ms. Couzo gained valuable litigation experience as a law clerk with a personal injury and medical malpractice law office in Fort Lauderdale. She also served as managing editor of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review and was elected president of the Hispanic Law Students Association. Ms. Couzo also interned with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of the Principal Advisor in Miami. Before pursuing her law degree, she worked as a broadcast associate with CBS Sports Network in New York City.
Ms. Couzo is licensed to practice law in Florida.
She has native fluency in Spanish.
