C. Gregory Ragsdale is a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Ragsdale concentrates his practice in general civil litigation, with an emphasis in workers’ compensation defense, premises liability, general liability, and personal injury defense. Since 1989, Mr. Ragsdale has counseled clients on all aspects of litigation. He represents insured and self-insured clients in State and Federal courts in Georgia. In his 32 years of practice, Mr. Ragsdale has deposed over 400 lay, expert and physician witnesses, he has argued over 100 discovery and dispositive motions; and has first and /or second-chaired 40 bench and jury trials in Georgia’s State, Superior and Administrative Courts. He has achieved the highest peer review rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
Mr. Ragsdale’s experience includes managing workers’ compensation litigation for Fortune 500 companies with locations in Georgia. Prior to joining QPWB, and since 2013, he was a founding member and managed all business aspects of his civil litigation law practice in Suwanee, Georgia. Previously, he was a partner and headed the Workers’ Compensation Department of an Atlanta civil litigation law firm.
Mr. Ragsdale was a partner with one of the oldest civil litigation defense law firms in Atlanta, where for over 16 years, he defended insureds, insurers and self-insureds in trials involving contract, personal injury and premises liability claims; here, he also managed all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation including the representation of a regional grocery store chain with over 80 locations in Georgia.
Mr. Ragsdale received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in May 1989 and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Georgia in May 1986.
He is licensed to practice law in Georgia and North Carolina and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.
