Nada A. Paisant is an associate in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice in the areas of general liability, insurance defense coverage issues, motor vehicle negligence, personal injury litigation, premises liability, negligent security, catastrophic injury and wrongful death actions, nursing home defense litigation and medical malpractice defense. Ms. Paisant represents employers and management in employment-related disputes in federal and state courts, before administrative hearings, and in mediation and arbitration.
Ms. Paisant has extensive experience in the federal and state courts of Georgia, Virginia and Washington, D.C., where she has devoted 15 years of her legal career advising government agencies and serving the interests of the public.
For 10 years, Ms. Paisant worked in the Office of the Attorney General, Washington, D.C., as an assistant attorney general in the Personnel and Labor Relations Section, and with the Public Safety Division in both, the Criminal and Juvenile Sections. She represented the District agencies through all phases of employment litigation, workers compensation; and prosecuted juvenile offenders for criminal and misdemeanor offenses including firearm offenses, and alcohol and drug-related traffic offenses. Ms. Paisant managed all aspects of trial, including pre-trial and post-conviction motions.
In Georgia, she served in the Solicitor General’s Office at Forsyth as assistant solicitor general and with the District Attorney’s Office in Cherokee County, Georgia, as assistant district attorney, where she managed the Diversion and the Accountability Court Programs for felony offenders.
Ms. Paisant received her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Washington, D.C., in May 2006, a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Clemson University, South Carolina in May 2000, graduating with a major in political science; in 2001, she was awarded a Paralegal Certificate from Georgetown University Legal Assistant Program, Washington, D.C.
Ms. Paisant is licensed to practice law in Georgia, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
