Oscar L. Sugrañes, III is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., His practice is focused in the areas of construction defect, professional liability defense and general liability.

Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Sugrañes worked as a legal claims specialist in the construction industry preparing legal analysis of construction defect claims including the review of master contracts, Certificates of Insurance, and subcontractor agreements to prepare discovery and manage claims.

Mr. Sugrañes was awarded his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, Gulfport, Florida in May 2018 and a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Affairs from Florida State University in May 2011. While in law school, he served as a legal intern to the Veterans Advocacy Institute, AmeriCorps where he worked on developing factual basis for settlement of claims for environmental chemical exposure cases. Mr. Sugrañes was awarded the Williams F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and Veterans Law Institute Award.

Mr. Sugrañes is licensed to practice law in Florida.
