Sherita S. Glover is an associate in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses in the areas of medical malpractice defense, nursing home and long-term care liability and is also a member of the firm’s Medicare Compliance Practice group. Ms. Glover represents medical groups, healthcare providers, hospitals and physicians; she also defends against general liability and casualty claims involving a wide range of businesses, organizations and individuals in automobile liability; common carrier negligence, wrongful death, premises liability, and negligent security matters.
Ms. Glover is also involved in corporate compliance. In order to minimize risk and ensure ethical behavior, she monitors statutes, laws and regulations nationwide surrounding compliance by an organization and its employees and other representatives with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the organization’s business activities.
Ms. Glover has been named to the 2022 Annual Hot List by Lawyers of Color. The annual award recognizes early- to mid-career attorneys excelling in the legal profession, with a focus on those with noteworthy accomplishments who were also active in diversity pipeline initiatives.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Glover was an associate with a Chicago health care and litigation law firm. She concentrated her civil litigation practice in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice, personal injury, appellate law, and advised on HIPAA compliance. Ms. Glover aided in negotiating settlement agreements, she defended depositions, participated in court hearings, and argued motions before judges throughout many of the Collar counties.
Ms. Glover received her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, in 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Organizational Communications from Roosevelt University, Chicago, in 2009.
Ms. Glover is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
