Kenneth D. Miranda is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he focuses his practice in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice, nursing home defense, wrongful death, premises liability, general liability, and negligent security.
Mr. Miranda received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville in May 2015 and a Master of Business Administration from Jacksonville University in April 2015; he earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tampa in May 2010 graduating with a major in business entrepreneurship.
While in law school, he received a Business Law Certificate, the Book Award in Lawyers as Entrepreneurs, and was a member and President of the legal honors society, Phi Delta Phi. While studying for his master’s degree, he was initiated as member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the honors society for business excellence.
Mr. Miranda worked as an extern with the in-house counsel of a supermarket chain, Bi-Lo/Winn Dixie, where he researched the major labor and employment law statues and regulations affecting businesses and workers. He also served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Florida Coastal Business and Entrepreneurial Law Clinic and the Family Law Clinic. Mr. Miranda has formed several business entities and is experienced in drafting corporate documents.
Mr. Miranda is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar. His professional affiliations also include the American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, and Hispanic National Bar Association.
He is fluent in Spanish.
